Memory Care

Some homes or communities specialize in providing care only to persons with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. A community that specializes in the care for people with memory impairment must receive an endorsement from the State of Oregon and is governed by additional regulations that are specifically intended to support individuals with dementia. The home or community usually is a secure unit with staff on duty around the clock for care needs.Alzheimer's Care in Washington and Oregon
